This lovely valentine's day card is done for The Play Date Cafe Challenge, which is a color challenge of grey, green, and orange. This is not the usual mix of colors that I would work with, and I am really satisfied with the way the card turns out. I usually use a lot of pinks in my card. This card really turns out to be elegant. I really love color challenges, as it encourage me to go out of my comfort zone.

Oh neat! Love those birds decorating the cake. You used our challenge colors in such a unique way and we're glad you came to play with us at THe Cafe this week!
Lovely card Juliet :) thanks for playing along with us at the Play Date Cafe this week!
A really elegant card. It reminds me of Cinderella with the little birds fluttering around the cake! Thanks for playing along with us at the Play Date Cafe this week!
It is elegant - those birds especially. Great how they are framing that cake. So glad you played along this week at the Play Date Cafe.
Wow, this is so pretty! Love how you added the color to the black and white background! So striking! Thanks for joining us over at the Play Date Cafe!
